Terms.
Last updated: October 2026
1. Scope and your contract partner
These terms apply to consultation, planning and tattooing by Natali El-Mardenli, trading as “Ruby Ink”, for sessions in Florida, USA. For sessions in Germany (Karlsruhe and Calw, until 24 October 2026), the German AGB apply.
Sessions take place at independent partner studios. Your contract is only with Natali El-Mardenli, not with the studio. The house rules of the studio apply on site.
2. Request and confirmation
A request through the booking form, by email or by WhatsApp is not binding, neither for you nor for us. Your appointment becomes binding when we confirm a date in writing, for example by email or WhatsApp, and you pay the reservation deposit. By paying the deposit you accept these terms.
3. Reservation deposit
A reservation and planning deposit is required to confirm an appointment. It covers the reserved time, preparation and the development of your design. It is credited in full toward the total price of your tattoo.
The amount depends on the size and planning effort of your project and is communicated to you before your appointment is confirmed. It becomes binding only once you confirm it. We tell you the accepted payment methods when we confirm your date. For projects with several sessions, the deposit is credited to the first session.
4. Rescheduling and cancellation
You can reschedule free of charge up to 96 hours before your appointment. Your deposit carries over to the new date.
If you cancel completely at least 96 hours before, your deposit is kept as a credit for a future appointment.
If you cancel later or do not show up, the deposit is forfeited.
If we have to cancel or move your appointment, for example because of illness, you can choose a new date or get your deposit back in full.
5. Prices
Estimates based on photos or online requests are not binding. The final price depends on size, detail, placement, skin condition and the actual time needed. Changes to the design or scope may change the price.
Prices and deposits for sessions in Florida are in US dollars.
6. Minimum age and ID
We tattoo only clients who are 18 or older. Please bring a valid government-issued photo ID to every appointment. Without it we cannot start. We do not tattoo minors, even with parental consent.
7. Your health and your information
Before your session you must give complete and truthful information, in particular about allergies, skin conditions, medication (especially blood thinners), pregnancy or breastfeeding and any other health issues. We do not tattoo anyone under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Before every session you read and sign a consent form and the customer record that Florida law requires.
8. Refusing or stopping a session
A session may be refused or stopped if there are health risks, if important information was withheld, if the work does not make sense technically, or if the actual situation differs significantly from the photos and details sent in advance.
9. Design and approval
Every design is made individually. Designs are not sent in advance. You see your design at the appointment, and we refine it together. By starting the tattoo you confirm the design, size and placement. Minor artistic or technical variations are not a defect.
10. Projects with several sessions
Large realism pieces usually need several sessions. Work in progress is not a final result. The result can only be judged after all sessions are complete and the skin has fully healed.
11. Cover-ups
Cover-ups are taken on only at a small scale and after prior agreement. Large cover-ups are not offered. The result depends on the existing tattoo, your skin and healing. Full coverage cannot be guaranteed.
12. Touch-ups
Touch-ups are generally charged. In individual cases a touch-up may be offered within three months of the original session if the aftercare instructions were followed. The artist decides whether a touch-up is needed.
13. Special areas
Long-term durability cannot be guaranteed on fingers, hands, feet, knees, elbows, lips and behind the ear. Touch-ups in these areas are always charged.
14. Healing and aftercare
You receive aftercare instructions verbally and in writing. Following them is your responsibility. The result is affected by skin type, healing, care and outside factors such as sun, tanning, sports and water.
15. Image rights
All designs and tattoos are protected works of the artist. Designs may not be copied or used commercially without permission. Photos of your finished tattoo are published only with your explicit consent.
16. Risks and liability
A tattoo breaks the skin. Even with careful work, reactions such as allergies, infection or scarring can occur. These are known risks of every tattoo and not a defect of the work.
Nothing in these terms limits liability for intent or gross negligence, or any liability that cannot be limited under applicable law. Otherwise, to the extent permitted by law, we are liable only for foreseeable damage and not for indirect or consequential damage.
17. Governing law and courts
These terms and your session in Florida are governed by the laws of the State of Florida. The courts in the Florida county where your session took place or was planned to take place have jurisdiction. Mandatory consumer rights that apply to you remain unaffected.
18. Language and final provisions
These terms are written in English. Translations are provided for your convenience. If a translation differs, the English version applies.
The version in effect when your appointment is confirmed applies to that appointment.
If any provision is or becomes invalid, the remaining provisions stay in effect.
